• I HAVE…established a new lease allowing the Bessemer Courthouse to remain open.

• I HAVE…Reduced County budget by $107 million to match current revenue.

• I HAVE…Reorganized the indigent care system of Jefferson County to improve the quality of healthcare and save taxpayer’s dollars.

• I AM…Working to re-open the Bessemer cutoff County jail.

• I AM…in negotiations with sewer creditors to formulate a plan of adjustment to exit bankruptcy without undue hardship to Jefferson county sewer ratepayers.

• I WILL…Restore the maintenance of our county roads and highways

• I WILL…Establish and PROMOTE incentives to attract new business and industry

• I WILL…Establish and implement a plan to improve the cooperation between departments to promote the health safety and welfare of all of our citizens

• I WILL…Eliminate those wasteful programs and functions that do not have a direct impact on its citizens.

• I WILL….offer, you the citizens an open line of communication and personal integrity coupled with a desire to serve all of the residents of Jefferson County.
